Seller guide: getting your listing approved

Every new listing is reviewed by a person before it goes live. This is what keeps the marketplace worth buying from — and it is why buyers here take listings seriously.
The statuses, in order
- Draft — you are still working on it. Only you can see it. Drafts save as you go, so you can leave the wizard and come back.
- Pending Review — you have submitted it. Our team is checking it.
- Active — it is live and buyers can find and unlock it.
- In Escrow — a buyer has paid and the sale is in progress. The listing is held off the market.
- Sold — the sale completed.
You can see where each of your listings stands in Dashboard → My Listings.
What we check
Revenue proof. The single most important field. It needs to be a legible screenshot or export from your machine's telemetry, your cashless payment provider, or your own records — showing the machine and a recognisable date range. Cropped-to-nothing images, and figures typed into a document with no source, get sent back.
Photos. Clear, current, and of the actual machine. At minimum: the full machine from the front, the product display, and the payment mechanism. Stock photos from the manufacturer's website are not acceptable as the primary image.
Location details. The exact address or site is gated from buyers until they unlock, so be specific — precision here does not expose you. Vague entries like "central area" do not give buyers enough to assess the machine and slow down the review.
Internal consistency. The revenue range you selected should match the proof you uploaded. The condition you described should match the photos. Most rejections are a mismatch between two fields rather than anything dishonest.
No off-platform contact. Phone numbers, email addresses, and external links in the description are removed. Your contact details are revealed to buyers automatically when they unlock — putting them in the description just bypasses that and gets the listing sent back.
What usually causes a delay
In rough order of frequency:
- Revenue proof that is unreadable, undated, or clearly from a different machine
- Only one photo, or photos taken in the dark
- A stated revenue range that the uploaded proof does not support
- Missing machine condition or operating details
- Contact details in the description
How long it takes
Most listings are reviewed within one to two business days. Submissions late on a Friday will typically be looked at on Monday.
If a listing is sent back, you will get an email explaining what needs to change. Fix it and resubmit — a resubmitted listing usually clears faster because we already know the rest of it.
Editing a live listing
You can edit an Active listing at any time from Dashboard → My Listings. Small changes — price, description wording, adding a photo — apply immediately. Substantial changes, particularly to revenue figures or the location, send the listing back through review.
Before you submit — a quick checklist
- Revenue proof is legible and dated
- At least three current photos of the actual machine
- Exact location entered
- Condition, operating details, and reason for sale all filled in
- Asking price is a real number you would accept
- No phone numbers, emails, or links in the description
