Seller guide: listing a package deal

If you are selling a route rather than a single machine, a package deal lets you list all of it as one listing with a separate entry per machine and location.

When to use a package deal

Use one when you are selling multiple machines and you are open to a buyer taking some or all of them. Use individual listings when the machines are genuinely unrelated, or when you want completely different pricing and positioning for each.

A package deal is usually the better choice for a route: it shows buyers the scale of what is available, and it lets someone who only wants two of your eight machines still start a conversation.

Building the listing

Start from Dashboard → New Listing and choose the package option. The wizard then asks for details per machine, on its own tab.

The tabs unlock in sequence. Machine 2 stays disabled until Machine 1 has the required fields for the current step. This is intentional — it stops half-finished entries from reaching review. Fill in each machine's details before moving on.

For each machine you will provide its own location, condition, revenue proof, and operating details. They are genuinely different machines with different performance, and buyers unlock them individually, so the detail matters.

Your progress saves as a draft throughout. You can close the tab and pick it up later from Dashboard → My Listings.

What it costs to list

  • Your first 3 locations are free.
  • Each additional location is $25, charged when you submit.

A 5-location package therefore costs $50 to list (2 chargeable locations). There is no charge for a package that does not sell, and the 10% platform fee still only applies to sales that actually complete.

Machines without a location

Not every machine is being sold with its site. If you are selling the hardware only, choose the "without location" option at the start of the wizard — the location step is dropped and the listing is presented to buyers as machine-only.

Be straightforward about this. A buyer who assumes a site is included and finds out at handover that it is not is a dispute waiting to happen.

How buyers purchase from a package

This is the part sellers most often misread. Buyers are not obliged to take the whole bundle:

  • They can unlock and buy a single location.
  • Or they can unlock the whole package, at a 10% discount on the unlock cost.

That means one package listing can produce several separate sales to different buyers. Each location has its own status, and the listing as a whole stays Active while any location is still available.

Price each machine as something you would genuinely accept on its own. If you only want to sell the route as a single block, say so plainly in the description.

As locations sell

Each location moves through its own statuses — available, in escrow, then sold — and the overall listing status follows automatically:

  • Any location still available, and the listing stays Active
  • All locations sold, and the listing becomes Sold

You do not need to edit anything as machines sell. Just keep hitting the acceptance and handover deadlines on each individual sale — they are enforced per transaction, so three concurrent sales means three sets of deadlines.

Editing a package after it is live

You can edit machine details and add locations from Dashboard → My Listings. Adding a location beyond your free 3 charges the extra-location fee at the time you add it. Locations that are already in escrow or sold cannot be removed.
